The undersigned acknowledges and agrees that this registration form and terms and conditions set out on the reverse, which the undersigned acknowledges having read, constitute a legally binding agreement between Recrewit and the Client.

Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between Recrewit (“we”, “our”, or “the Agency”), and the business or individual using our staffing platform (“Client”, “you”). By signing up or using our services to post shifts or hire staff, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any rate schedules applicable.

1. Services Provided

We provide licensed childcare centers and early learning programs with access to pre-screened, qualified temporary or on-call staff (“Agency Staff”) via our digital staffing platform. All bookings are subject to availability and applicable plan limits or hourly fees.

2. Fees & Subscription
  • Client agrees to pay fees outlined in the selected
  • subscription plan or the pay-as-you-go model.
  • Subscription fees are billed monthly.
  • Additional shift fees, overtime charges, and applicable taxes may apply.
  • Any fee changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance.
3. Payment Terms
  • Subscription and shift payments are invoiced automatically or as per billing cycle.
  • Invoices are due upon receipt.
  • Late payments may incur interest of 2% per month (26.8% annually) or the maximum allowed by law.
  • Failure to pay may result in service suspension.
4. Timesheets
  • Timesheets are submitted electronically by staff and must be reviewed and approved by the Client no later than Monday at 9:00 a.m. following the shift week.
  • If not approved by this deadline, hours will be reconciled based on original shift details.
  • Any discrepancies should be reported immediately for resolution.
5. Supervision & Conduct

While on-site, Client is responsible for:

  • Supervising Agency Staff
  • Ensuring safety, legal compliance, and adherence to policies
  • Notifying us of any issues or concerns with personnel
6. “On-the-Go” Files & Compliance

Agency Staff may carry digital or physical “On-the-Go” compliance files including their:

  • Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)
  • Certifications (e.g., First Aid, CPR, RECE)
  • Health records, as required by law
  • It is the Client’s responsibility to review playground and center-specific policies with Agency Staff.
7. Restrictions

Agency Staff are not authorized to:

  • Handle cash, valuables, or client funds
  • Operate vehicles or machinery
  • Work alone in breach of licensing rules
  • Supervise playgrounds unsupervised by permanent staff (unless qualified and directed)
8. Statutory Holidays & Overtime
  • Overtime (over 8.5 hours/day) is charged at 1.5x the shift rate.
  • Holiday shifts are billed at 1.5x standard rate, unless otherwise specified.
9. Conversion to Permanent Hire

If the Client hires an Agency Staff member directly—full-time, part-time, or as a temp—within 6 months of their last assignment, the Client agrees to pay a conversion fee as outlined in our rate schedule. This applies whether the hire is made directly or via an affiliate.

10. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

  • Provide a safe, legally compliant work environment
  • Maintain workplace liability coverage
  • Supervise shifts and comply with CCEYA regulations
  • Avoid discriminatory, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior toward staff
11. Cancellations

Clients must cancel a shift with at least 6 hours’ notice.
Late cancellations or no-shows may result in fees, based on our cancellation policy. Details are available in your dashboard or support portal.

12. Employment Relationship

All Agency Staff are employees of Recrewit.
 We handle:

  • Payroll, tax deductions, EI/CPP contributions
  • WSIB, insurance, and legal obligations
  • The Client does not employ Agency Staff and assumes no payroll or benefits responsibility.
13. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality regarding business operations, staff details, and proprietary information obtained during the course of this agreement.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Recrewit, its employees, and affiliates from any liability, claims, or damages arising from:

  • Your supervision or conduct toward Agency Staff
  • Violations of applicable employment, childcare, or health and safety laws
15. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

  • On-site incidents under Client supervision
  • Losses caused by job performance or attendance issues
  • System outages or technical delays
  • Our total liability is limited to the service fees paid by you in the past 3 months.
16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.


Any disputes will be resolved in Ontario courts.

17. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any changes. Significant changes will be communicated by email or platform notice.
